Agreement between the Giancarlo Ligabue Foundation and the Musée du quai Branly
The Giancarlo Ligabue Foundation and the Musée du quai Branly Jacques Chirac, Paris, have signed a historical agreement for the co-production of the exhibition Power and Prestige, curated by Steven Hooper. The Paris museum displays 3.500 artefacts from Africa, Asia, Oceania and the Americas.
Born from an idea of the former French President Jacques Chirac, passionate about non-western primitive art, the museum was inaugurated in June 2006 and hosts important temporary exhibitions.
