Cleopatra: The queen who challenged Rome and conquered eternity

Cleopatra, a cultured queen, intelligent and endowed with an extraordinary ability both at the negotiating table and in war. A woman of power incredibly modern for the historical moment in which she lived and, at the same time, capable of experiencing great love passions.

But who was really the last queen of Egypt? Alberto Angela – researcher, divulger, and great friend of the Foundation – in his book published by Harper Collins has reconstructed her life and skillful moves on the international chessboard, but also her loves and passions, tracing historical sources and consulting modern studies, taking the reader by the hand through the chaotic streets of the capital of the ancient world.

Alberto Angela narrates Cleopatra in the fourth of the Foundation’s Dialogues, cultural meetings that promote and spread the pleasure of knowledge.
