“Incontri_23” is a series of nine public lectures, promoted to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Giancarlo Ligabue Natural History Museum and 50 years of Ligabue’s cultural activity, from the Centro Studi e Ricerche to the Foundation.
The talks explore timely and pressing issues related to nature and the environment, alongside the enduring fascination of Wunderkammern and mirabilia, which lie at the origins of many scientific museums. The program unfolds in dialogue with the history and role of the Museum, while looking ahead to future challenges in research, youth education, and public engagement—areas that the Fondazione Giancarlo Ligabue actively supports.
